Pro-Tec Sacro Illiac SI Belt
What is the Sacro Illiac Joint?
The S.I. Joint is the connection between your tailbone (sacrum) and pelvic bone (ilium).
What causes S.I. Joint Syndrome?
Strain or tearing of the S.I. Joint ligaments is frequently caused by direct trauma or repetitive rotation to the lumbar spine and pelvis.
How does the S.I. Back Belt help?
The S.I. belt stabilises the hips and sacrum, reducing strain to the lower back
The SI Back Belt is wrapped lower, around the hips, than most back supports. The compression pad combines with a second set of exterior straps to apply effective compression on the sacrum.
Features silicon strips on inner side to anchor the belt and prevent slipping
The unique feature of the compression pad allows directed compression and support of the sacroiliac joint, relieving stress and instability at these weight bearing structures. Rather than the restrictive movement conventional belt (like Serola) would give you, ProTec SI belt's directed compression system will help direct the resistance where it is needed most, whilst allowing other joint's normal motion.
Normally sizing for this belt is given with men's and women's pant sizes, however we have also converted these sizes so that you can measure a hip circumference.
